I still do! Life has become busy and pursuing shows and recording music is a bit difficult atm, but I haven’t quit… just on an extended break.

Below is a collection of music and photos from my early 20’s

Music

My Song

This song I wrote one evening while playing my 12 string guitar, it just came out of me, beginning to end was done in one take and never repeated. The basis of the song comes from me trying to write music that could illustrate my journey of learning music and unlocking that part of my soul. I first picked up a guitar when I was 20.

“Messages” (cover)

I was listening to ben harper one evening, and I came across this artist called Xavier Rudd. I heard this song. It forever left an impression on me about the struggle of conversation, understanding and patience. Over the past 10 years this song has more and more meaning. This recording is a bit rough but I hope you enjoy it.

Imaginary Bars” (cover)

I think it was 2008 I went to the movie theatre with some friends and saw “one week”. It was an amazing movie, a really impactful film, not many people get it.. but its deeper meaning and connection with the Canadian landscape really reflected parts of my life at the time I saw it. I choose to cover it with my Wiessenborn.

“Jordan” (cover)

Just a hymn I really love. Faith is the key to opening many doors.

Instrumental

Sometimes I just play and see what happens.
